FAQ

Lab reporting — common questions

Can we add tests that are not in your database?
Yes, without limit. You can create a new test with your own units, reference ranges, method notes and formulas, and it behaves exactly like a built-in one. Most labs add a handful of specialised tests during onboarding and we help set them up.
Do you connect to our analysers?
We support analyser integration for common haematology and biochemistry instruments, which pushes results straight into the report and removes manual entry entirely. Tell us which instruments you run and we will confirm before you commit.
What happens if we need to amend a released report?
You can amend it, but the system keeps the original. The amended report is clearly marked as a revision, the change is logged against the user who made it, and anyone scanning the QR code sees the current version. Nothing is silently overwritten.
Can different pathologists sign different departments?
Yes. Signatures are assigned per pathologist and can be restricted to the departments they are qualified to verify, so a biochemistry report cannot go out under a histopathologist's signature by accident.
